 "Not all that" 2007-06-01
By case (Texas)
The product information states this burner produces 225,000 BTUs. This is incorrect. When I received the product, I find the box claims that it produces only 110,000. Now, 100 K BTUs isn't anything to sneeze at, but I can find 100,000 BTU burners for less. I thought I was paying extra for more power. Sending it back.

 "Junk" 2009-09-19
By Danny L. Mccaffree
This fryer is junk, to begin with it was short parts and the pans were bent because of shabby packageing and cheap box. When cooking with it you have to keep adjusting the heat as it won't hold an even tempature, one pan will get hot and the other too cold, you adjust it and it goes the other way, one reason for this is the paper thin pans that won't hold any heat. The directions for assembly are very scant. Again this fryer is junk, I will not recommend to anyone.

 "Fish Fryer" 2009-06-03
By trigirl (texas)
This was a gift for my mother-in law for bday/mother's day. She cried when she got it-she was so happy. We have alot of family get togethers and this will make our fish frys so much easier and faster.

"Actual item shipped is different than the picture" 2009-10-09
By Dan
They shipped a different item than what is pictured. Instead I received the 18" Bolt Together Portable Propane Outdoor Cooker (which they also sell alone)... and they threw in a wok and accessories. On top of that, there were just bolts, and no nuts that came with the cooker so I had to buy my own from the hardware store. So basically, i received the wrong item... and it was also missing pieces.

 "king cooker wok" 2009-09-19
By J. Bierschenk (newburgh, ny)
Easy to use, plenty hot enough to do Chinese dishes. The wok is big for those who enjoy eating a veggies. We've had fun eating the dishes this summer.

 "Manual misleading" 2009-09-02
By denis arvay
The unit operates well and makes excellent stir-fry. The "manual" however is confusing, and the illustrations don't match the parts sent. Had to call them to get accurate assembly instructions. Inconsiderate to customers, that.

"very good for stir frying" 2009-08-31
By Ross W. Porter (Seattle, WA USA)
I got this specifically for stir frying. My wife likes the taste of stir frys but didn't like the smoke created by indoor high temperature stir frying. The King Kooker improved the taste further with even higher temperatures and moved the smoke outside. Nice simple, relatively inexpensive solution.

 "Outdoor Propane Wok" 2008-03-19
By A. Hanson (Sonoma, CA USA)
This product is everything you need an outdoor wok to be. Easily cooks for 8 people. It is fun to cook near the table and be part of the party. It provides the high heat necessary to make the flash cooked, crisp and tender vegetables in Chinese stir-fry cooking. We cook one dish right after another with ease. It is a real joy to use this wok. I wish I had one in my kitchen. We keep it on the lania and use it everyday.
