I purchased this Coleman 2 Burner Electronic Ignition Propane Grill Stove (Blue Coleman) in conjunction with the Coleman Griddle and the Coleman Grill and Grill-Stove Carry Case.
This Grill Stove is a nice grill/stove. It is built to travel and as such is lighter material. It has a stove section (Nickel or Chrome stove assembly) and a grill section (Possibly cast Aluminum covered with a non stick surface). The Stove/grill has two fold out shelves that double as wind breaks. I have always used these as wind breaks only. The two wind breaks hold the lid in place and make the whole assembly more secure. I don not see using the two pieces as shelves, unless I am using a skillet that is too large to fit on the stove section, but that would have to be larger than I travel with. I use this stove/grill at home as an outside balcony stove/grill and also as a camping grill/stove. It covers the dual role well for me. While home I use the larger 20 # propane canister. When camping I use the smaller metal canisters it is designed for. In order to use the larger tank, I had to purchase a 4 ft hose to connect it all but nothing more.
As other reviewers have mentioned, this stove/grill burned fairly hot, producing a total of 20K BTUs. I did not have any trouble keeping the flames low enough to cook slowly, but as with all propane burners sometimes the flame as so clean, it is hard to see the flames.
Since the grill section has a non stick covering, metal utensils should not be used with this stove/grill.
I am happy with this purchase and neighbors who have the smaller Webers on their balconies have commented how they would like the more portability and flexibility of this grill/stove.

I spent several hours researching, and finally choose this particular coleman stove over many others. There were other brands on store shelf I was able to check out, but for the look and feel -- Coleman's product felt much more sturdily built. There were many designs to choose, but I wanted to grill as well as have a burner to stove top cook, so this was a great choice for me.
I tried it out on a day trip, and because of all the reviews I read I kept the flame on low like mose users said to. It worked like a charm. The park was packed full of day users that I had to settle on a patch of grass close to the parking lot, but oh well. The stove was easy to set up. It took me about 5 minutes. I tried the igniter first, but was really unsure whether I was doing it right or not, so I tried to ignite it with a piece of burning paper, which worked but defeats the purpose of the igniter. I didn't realize it but I had covered the grill portion's igniter with the aluminum foil ... duh!! Needless to say, I tried again with the igniter the second go around and voila!
My suggestion: Start it on low. Don't be in a hurry. I had 2 hamburgers, 4 hotdogs, and a 3 vegetable kabobs on the grill side (bean on the burner side) all on low. Nothing was burnt. Nothing stuck to the grill! Food was done faster than the people next to me who 1) didn't get to eat because it started to rain 2) had to redo their charcoal grill...while my daughter and I were safely esconced in our car chomping away happily while it rained.
(By the way, I also order the griddle for this stove...can't wait to try it out next weekend on our overnighter!!).
I love the stove so much, that once we got home I used it on our porch to finish cooking the leftover food!

My husband and I looked around at grills for a while before our first camping trip and finally decided upon this one not only because it's a Coleman but because it was both a grill and and stove. We had no problems with it and absolutely love it. We chose to also buy the griddle and our friends who joined us struggles making pancakes with their burner stove and eventually gave in and used ours. We love it, love it, love it!!!

This product works great. Perfect combination of burner and grill. Ignition works great even in windy conditions. Great investment and upgrade from previous stove.
Cons: I would like a better lock on the cover to keep it closed. Looking into a case but havent purchased one due to bad reviews of stove not fitting properly...

I've had this product for over a year now. It has been on several adventures: Yellowstone, Glacier, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, you get the picture. I've used it in blazing heat and freezing cold, at 9000 ft and below sea level and it has always preformed well. I have the "griddle accessory" for it which makes the "pancake/bacon egg" breakfast very easy. It puts out great heat when you want and can also be used at a low simmer. I've used it in 40 mph winds and it never goes out unless you turn it off. Easy to clean and well thought out. Fairly easy on gas also. My cats see me buying this stuff and just shake their heads. They say, "Jerry, why are you cooking, just eat it raw". I say, "I like my food cooked, and Coleman has that down to a science". They said, "What's science"? Cats, you gotta explain everything to them.
This is a great stove and with the griddle accessory you can cook up that "slew" of eggs or pancakes for that "pack of cats" that you have camping with you. Buy it.
